Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal

So i've always had a love hate relationship with oats, I ate lots of them while I was at school and then got to the point of never wanting to eat them again! I mentioned this in one of my youtube videos and somebody commented saying I should try chocolate oatmeal... well. You don't have to say chocolate twice! I made this recipe using the ingredients in my cupboards and absolutely LOVED it, so if you're an oat lover or an oat hater I reccomend trying this recipe out, it might surpise you!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal
Mt favourite winter warmer recipe! I've never been a massive fan of oats myself and so the fact i'm sharing an oat recipe with you tells you it's nice, this the recipe that changed my opinion of oatmeal!!! If you like chocolatey peanut buttery goodness then give this a go, you won't regret it.
  • 3/4 cup Oats
  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 1/2 Cup Plant Based Milk
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Cacao/Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Flax Seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
  • As much as you like! chocolate chips/fruit/nuts
Start by mashing your banana in a bowl with a fork until you get a banana puree. Add the oats, mashed banana, milk, vanilla and cacao into a saucepan and cook on medium heat until steaming. Remove from heat and place oatmeal into a bowl. Top with flaxseeds, maple syrup, peanut butter and your choice of topping (chocolate, nuts, seeds, fruit) and enjoy!
